Fiesta Days Rodeo

We went to the rodeo last week. Honestly it was the highlight of my summer. Not because of the show they put on, or because of all the beautiful horses, which there were a lot of. But because it was different and exciting! I haven't been to rodeo in probably 8 years. Can I say it was a totally different experience with kids? My girls rock my world! Every once in a while you have a night that's just perfect! They were so elated by the whole experience! Their grins, purple cotton candy tongues and cowgirl boots just made me feel like I was  on a high. I am in love with my girls! Hey Troy even enjoyed himself! So it must have been a great night right? Avery had nervous/excited giggles almost constantly. We just made a new tradition.

Grampa Grape

Let me just say once again, I am not so much into writing as I am to posting pictures. I feel like the pictures I take tell you more about they way I feel than the words I write. Plus, if I feel like I have to write a whole bunch I will just put it off.

My Grandpa, the most dependable and incredible person ever. He is sweet, kind, patient, and understanding. Although I know he misses my Grandma, his attitude hasn't changed or wavered at all. He is always content and up for a laugh. He always takes an interest in me. We can visit and laugh for a long time and I never tire of hearing his stories. I love holding his hand. He shows me who I want to be. He rarely has a bad word to say about anyone. He sees the good, even when it is difficult. I just really love him.

The 4th of July

I always look forward to the month of July! Most of my family comes into town. We spend a lot of time together, I just love it! Plus the Fourth of July is totally my favorite holiday! We went to the Stadium of fire this year, Carrie Underwood? Hello!  One of the best concerts ever! I'm going to post pictures because I feel like I do that better than write...

Sprinkler Time

We ran through the sprinklers the other day. I think my kids are the cutest and funniest!

Team Lightning Shock

Lightning Shock is Macy's kickball team. Today was Macy's second practice. Macy was so excited to go the first week. Then when we got to the park she freaked. The only way I got her to play was holding her hand while she kicked the ball and kept holding while we ran the bases together. I was proud of her for doing it even though she was "a little nervous."

So today, the second practice Macy freaked out again once it was time for practice to start. She didn't want anything to do with it. About 10 minutes into the practice we got her to come around a little. We told her that we Avery would play. Macy was so bugged. We got Avery off the playground and sure enough Avery  wanted to. Avery got up there and kicked the ran to first. Macy was so irritated but she couldn't let Avery her baby sister do it and not her. Macy joined practice and did awesome! I was so proud of her!! She is amazing. I felt like I was on a high! I couldn't stop grinning. Not just because she did it but she was so happy and proud of herself she gave me a thumbs up every time she got to a base.
